It's one of the things I liked about this the decission sparing the Legion because you consider it a distraction from the Paradox Core threat,and want to go straight for it makes sense ,and ultimately it's why were there for. That's just how i look at it, i completely understand justifying the other route too. And if we look at this as a more realistic scenario (I know it's a game, bear with me) Ava may not even make it to the vanguard, and as we saw, Kayto would stand his ground until blown to hell by the legion if the vanguards didn't fire. It looked like the proper thing to do at the moment : Kayto was really committed into sinking that beast, and more importantly it was killing off the fleet under my command.Īnd more importantly I did it because I like Ava's character. as in any good story, plot twist may happen and killing it might be a better decision, who knows. Problem here is that I'm really not sure if it's the best course of action, seeing we're going to have to deal with what looks to be a greater menace than PACT in the future, so I don't know if sinking the Legion is the best course of action, as we might need to team up for a little while to fight the prototypes.
The part of Ava sacrificing herself to fire the Vanguard cannon, even though a bit disturbing and scarring, was nicely written].
And depending on how things go, it might be better for fighting the prototypes to have a "less fanatic" enemy like Fontana commanding PACT and having the LEGION available to fight this new menace It felt too much like Captain Ahab Shields vs Moby (Space Whale) Legion. one with sparing the Legion (which was what made more sense to me in the first place, I don't know, something was off about it.
